Certified & Trained Therapy Dog
Animal-assisted therapy integrates the unique bond between humans and animals into the healing process. Through gentle interaction, comfort, and nonjudgmental presence, therapy animals help reduce anxiety, regulate emotions, and create a sense of safety and connection. Research shows that working with animals can lower stress levels, support trauma recovery, and enhance engagement in therapy for all ages. At Longleaf, we believe healing goes beyond talk, and our certified therapy dog helps clients experience calm, trust, and connection in a deeply meaningful way. Please note: Winnie will only be present in sessions upon request and after completion of additional consent forms.
